Student Project - Bi-cultural Worldview2024Māramatanga Te Ao Māori
This project aimed to address the gap where te reo Māori has been overlooked in primary schools. Māramatanga Te Ao Māori is about creating new ways to explore Te Ao Māori beyond the classroom. Inspired by my time as a design student, I wanted this project to help kids and families connect with Māori culture and language in a fun, accessible way. In collaboration with McDonald’s, we’ve added this experience to the Kids’ Meals menu to make language learning engaging and approachable.
